The Ross Care & Blatchford Partnership has been awarded the Mid Notthinghamshire Specialist Wheelchair Service Contract
The 3 year contract to operate the Mid Nottinghamshire Specialist Wheelchair Service for
Children, Young People and Adults will deliver wheelchair services to patients within
Mansfield & Ashfield and Newark & Sherwood Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).
This will be Blatchford's eighth directly commissioned clinical wheelchair service contract
and the fourth successful partnership with Ross Care, with whom Blatchford already
supply Tameside, Oldham and Dudley wheelchair services.
In line with these other services, the focus will be on improving quality and safety,
combining Blatchford's clinical experience and Ross Care's approved repairer expertise to
improve the service provided for service users in Mid Nottinghamshire.
Blatchford's Business Development Manager Kay Purnell commented, 'Our partnership

class wheelchair service, which supports service users in leading active and independent
lives. We are delighted to welcome the Mansfield clinical team into the Blatchford group.'
